January in Tampa Bay means the inshore bite will be on, so Capt. Tommy Z targets trout, snook and redfish. Topwater plugs
work great in the morning. Then transition to soft plastics
once the sun comes up. Tommy Z has since moved to Key West to work for Dream Catcher Charters, so look him up when your down south, and I'm sure he can hook you up with a tarpon!
